Greg Pope

Greg Pope founded Pope Construction in 1983. His broad experience in the Wyoming construction industry began in 1973 when he joined Lower and Company, General Contractor serving as estimator/project manager and general manager.

Greg received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1973, and also completed graduate work in instrumentation engineering.

As founder and sole owner of Pope Construction, he has worked on a variety of projects including many high-tech health care facilities, K-12 and college educational facilities, banks, retail stores, heavy industrial work, water plants, manufacturing, residential and high-end office facilities. He specializes in design-build, construction management and negotiated GMP contracts.

Greg has served 6 years on the Natrona County Contractor’s Licensing Board. He is a member of the Business Resource Council of CAEDA, has served on the Board of Directors for the Casper Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club and was on the Central Wyoming Fair Board for 15 years.

Bruce English
Principle/Project Manager/Estimator

Bruce English has worked as project manager/estimator with Pope Construction since 1996. Prior to joining the company he worked as Construction Manager and Coordinator with TIC in Casper, Wyoming. He has also been involved with power plant construction, worked in the real estate business and owned a residential construction company.

Bruce has served as project engineer or project manager for several large scale projects—industrial, medical, retail and educational. He also worked on the Wyoming Medical Center Expansion Project, which included project safety, quality control, project document control, subcontractor relations and purchasing.

Wade Crotteau
General Superintendent

Wade Crotteau has been with Pope Construction since 1989, serving as General Superintendent in charge of the field superintendents and quality control on every project for Pope Construction since 1999.

While at Pope Construction, Wade has had a wide variety of experience including project superintendent for Sheridan Hospital and the Wyoming Medical Center MRI facility. He is adept at surveying, layout, safety requirements and quality control. His ability to work with project superintendents, owners, architects and subcontractors makes him a key team member.

Lloyd Stephens
Project Superintendent/Field Operations

Lloyd Stephens has been with Pope Construction since 1992. He is the company’s most senior, experienced superintendent for large-scale projects. With 30 years in the trades, he has been involved as a project superintendent for commercial, industrial, medical and institutional projects, including Verda James Elementary School, ALSCO Laundry, Wyoming Medical Center and the Studio City Cinema Complex.
